WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
The greatest surprise to me about Intelligent Movement is that my body likes it. My body wants to do it again and again. I’ve taken so many movement classes But as I get older, I don’t want to walk into a yoga class and see in the first minute, someone’s head rest on her feet.
I have chronic fatigue so the real aerobic dancing is out. I do weights and work in the pool but Intelligent Movement is helping me let go of the muscles I don’t need to use and strengthening the ones that really initiate movement.
Via is credentialed, supportive and encourages me to learn in my own time. There’s no rush. I feel like I’m reconnecting to my whole body again. I certainly believe that other movement systems are wonderful for different goals. With my career being in the Theatre, I’ve experienced Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, yoga, modern dance, etc.
But, at 76, I’m preparing to enter Intelligent Movement as exercising until the day I leave this world. Via is authentic,non-judgmental while opening doors to this new system. And she radiates her love of movement. It’s contagious..

Can’t say enough about how much I appreciate and use Via’s “Intelligent Movement”. She has shown me how to take exercise out of the gym/classroom and into my “anywhere, anytime” life. I had never heard of “pure” movement before this, and I’m loving the significant improvement in joint comfort and flexibility. Try it! You’ll thank me.
Before I started MoveEasy1o1, I had stopped my regular practice of yoga/working out. My self-esteem was suffering and I felt like my health and vitality were slipping away.
This class has brought me back to a much happier, healthier relationship with my body. I regularly included simple movements throughout the course of my day that bring me back to good posture, remind me to move more, and I am back to a daily practice of yoga and/or working out. I feel like myself again and am loving watching this upward spiral as it progresses.
The online group was new for me, and I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Rather than feeling disconnected from Via and the other students in the class, I actually felt more connected than when I’m taking a class in person.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to be introduced to the healing power of Intelligent Movement Forever working with Via Anderson while in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. Over the years I have experienced numerous methods of relieving/managing chronic pain from head to toe including pain medication (yuck), chiropractic (mixed results), massage (yum, but short term) and yoga (hooray)! Others methods include from classic physical therapy to acupuncture. While there was some relief from these methods, none corrected the problematic issues systemically. The combination of stretching and strengthening while being taught by Via how to be mindful of my body and it’s quirks have provided an impressive shift in my body to a more long lasting balanced/healthy state. I would encourage anyone seeking to resolve chronic pain issues to consider experiencing Intelligent Movement Forever with Via. She is an experienced, intuitive and compassionate body worker who listens closely to her clients feedback, providing individually designed solutions to resolve chronic pain. For someone who has experienced chronic pain for over 30 years, Via Page and Intelligent Movement Forever have provided a technique that not only works but seems to last. What a Great Solution. Thanks Via!

Before I signed up for MoveEasy101, my movement struggle was mostly my right hip. It would ache if I walked too much or stood too long, but from the time I retired in May, it seemed to get worse. My left shoulder (the one that had been injured) would also ache if I overextended myself. My hip began to ache all the time, even when I wasn’t overdoing it and the pain was 24/7. One of my biggest frustrations was that I couldn’t do the things I wanted to do now that I had the time for them, I,e., walking, working out, riding my motorcycle. I was in pain and didn’t want to move.
The course helped me more then I ever expected. For both my hip and my shoulder, if I do the exercises for the area, the pain goes away. It didn’t happen overnight, it took me a few weeks to realize what was happening, but one day it just hit me that the pain was gone. Now I do them on a regular basis wherever I am, waiting in line, waiting for a bus or in a meeting. In every single lesson, I learned at least one new thing about my body and how to move it in a healthy way.
The online group training was a new experience for me. I think it could be the wave of the future. More things are being done online now. I did 90% of my Christmas shopping online this year. One thing that made it work for me was the convenience. There is a room in our house that I use for meditation/ exercise /reading, etc. I would just get dressed and go to my room and shut the door and I’m ready to go. Less hassle then driving to the gym . Also, I’m in my own space, not someone else’s.
